Privacy Policy
Cocktail Hour Companion and Now Spinning (each, and together, “the App”) are developed by Harin Wickremasinghe (“we,” “us,” “our”). Now Spinning is a reduced version of Cocktail Hour Companion, and both handle information in the same way. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles and how.
Summary
The App is designed to collect as little personal information as possible. We do not require account creation, we do not collect your name or email address, and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising services.

Information Stored On Your Device
The App stores a small amount of information locally on your device, including:
- The last album and track you played, so the App can resume where you left off
- Your sleep timer and playback preferences
- Your selected turntable appearance (“skin”)
This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
Subscription and Purchase Information
If you subscribe to VIP Lounge or make a purchase within the App, that transaction is processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment information, card details, or billing address. Apple’s own privacy policy governs how that information is handled, available at apple.com/legal/privacy.
We do receive confirmation from Apple of your subscription status (active or inactive) so the App can unlock the appropriate content, but this is not linked to any personal identifying information on our end.
Content Delivery
Audio, artwork, and video content in the App are delivered from cloud storage and video hosting services. Standard technical information (such as IP address and device type) may be processed automatically by these services as part of normal internet delivery, in the same way it would be for loading any website or streaming content. We do not use this information to identify or track individual users.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your Choices
Because the App does not collect personal data tied to your identity, there is no personal data to request, export, or delete. You may delete the App at any time, which removes all locally stored preferences from your device. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
