Cocktail Hour Companion — iOS App
Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Cocktail Hour Companion mobile application (“the App”), developed and operated by Harin Wickremasinghe (“we,” “us,” “our”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Content Ownership
All music, audio recordings, artwork, video content, and other media available within the App are created and owned by us. This content is provided for personal, non-commercial listening and viewing within the App only.
You may not copy, redistribute, broadcast, sell, or otherwise use the content outside of the App without our prior written permission.
Subscriptions
The App offers an optional subscription (“VIP Lounge”) that unlocks additional content and features. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account.
- Subscription prices are as displayed in the App at the time of purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription
Promotional pricing, including limited-time offers, may be available only to specific subscribers at our discretion and is not guaranteed to be available to all users or to recur in future periods.
Free and Paid Content
Some content within the App is available free of charge. Additional content is available exclusively to active VIP Lounge subscribers. We reserve the right to change which content is designated free or paid at our discretion.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to download, extract, or redistribute audio or video content outside of the App’s intended functionality
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Offline Downloads
If the App allows you to download content for offline listening, that content remains licensed for your personal use only while your subscription is active. Downloaded content may become inaccessible if your subscription lapses.
Third-Party Services
The App may link to or embed content from third-party services (such as YouTube or Vimeo). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies, which we do not control.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
